Tim Tebow

First thing first, I am not a Florida Gator fan. Although I am not a Gator Fan, any football fan in America who has seen Tim Tebow play has to be a fan of the guy. For a long time I wondered why the media went crazy about this guy. I just did not see the difference between a guy like Tim Tebow and a guy like Charlie Ward. Both are running quarterbacks, both led their respected teams to national championships. Yet when Charlie Ward played there was not a fraction of the hype around him as there is Tim Tebow. The reason I think the media is the way they are with Tim Tebow is his Christ-like persona he brings day in and day out. He takes his faith in God everywhere he goes and puts his faith in God in everything he does.

Fans outside Gainesville do not like this kid from Jacksonville, but this is because of the way the media portrays him as an innocent little boy who does no wrong, but this is not his fault. He handles these so called "Haters" with respect, this was shown in the face of a huge loss in the Southeastern Conference Championship. Teary eyed and emotional Tim Tebow congratulated the Crimson Tide of Alabama, he even said thank you to all the coaches of the Crimson Tide. How many people can say thank you after a loss that should not have happened? The way this kid handles his situations on and off the field can only be described as Christ-like and is due to his faith in God. He is the perfect example of a christian athlete, form having John 3:16 across his face to putting God first in every aspect of his life.

Through crying in an interview yet thanking God for a loss, a mission trip to Africa or on a date to an award show with a girl that has a brain tumor and her last wish was to see Tebow win the award. This kid is a Role Model student athlete. These are some of the reasons why the hype is so great for Tim Tebow.

In other thoughts I have discovered these new golf clubs at http://www.faultlessgolf.com/.
